Talk to your bishop. If you understand truth, you have to understand that one principle isnt going to change just because its inconvenient to you. If you know its true… then why not work on becoming stronger and making that weakness a strength to you instead of running away from the truth. Walking away from it wont make sinning feel any better. I know you are right, I just hope that I can get control of myself before that happens.

It would be wrong to receive communion, as you said. A Catholic is allowed to attend the service of a different denomination, but still is required to attend mass for that Sunday or holy day of obligation. If you're on vacation and can't find a Catholic church you can attend a daily mass when you get home to make up for the required mass you missed. - Chosen by Voters If you're talking about a Catholic ceremony, then they usually won't do a Mass unless both are Catholic. The Liturgy of the Eucharist is the only difference, but that is usually only done for the couple.
